Thanks for sharing. Both of you had another baby within those 9 months – not everyone has that blessing. Of my two miscarriages, my second, after 3 healthy births, was my last pregnancy. I have still never felt the “good” of that miscarriage except to know that baby is in heaven. I am so grateful for all 5 babies, but I miss so much not getting to hold another.

      Hi J.,

Thank you for sharing your story; I am so sorry for your losses.

I am in a similar boat, having miscarried our first and not yet achieving another pregnancy. I agree with you that the good is in clinging to that comfort of having gained a soul for heaven. One of the things that touched me while listening to the Greenes and the Accursos share about their “impossible” babies is how difficult it must be sometimes to remember the lost one, especially because having not lost the lost one would make impossible the one you know and love daily.

Every miscarriage is so different in its details but so the same in its heartbreak. Know that you are in our prayers, and please keep us, the Greenes, and the Accursos in yours as well!
